All About Art for Elementary Students: Vincent Van Gogh, Recreate Starry Night Into Scary Night!

Your elementary-aged artist will dive into the world of Vincent van Gogh during this hands-on creative session. Students begin by learning about the artist's life and studying his iconic painting *The Starry Night*, discussing details like the swirling sky, bright stars, and expressive brushstrokes that give the work its sense of energy and movement. Then comes the fun part—kids recreate van Gogh's masterpiece with an October twist. They'll keep the painting's original style while adding their own Halloween and autumn flair, such as bats, spooky clouds, crooked trees, haunted houses, or friendly creatures. The result is a one-of-a-kind seasonal artwork that honors van Gogh's creativity while celebrating each child's imagination. Best of all, this event is completely free.
