Art on Walnut

Art on Walnut is a free, family-friendly outdoor event held weekly on Sundays from April through October at City Market. Each week features about 33 local artists and makers selling handmade items like jewelry, ceramics, original artwork, and unique gifts. It's the perfect spot to discover one-of-a-kind treasures while supporting Kansas City creators. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. While you're browsing the art vendors, you can also explore the farmers market for fresh, locally grown produce and the River Market Flea for vintage finds. Grab a coffee or snack and enjoy the relaxed Sunday atmosphere in this historic neighborhood. Whether you're a regular at City Market or visiting for the first time, Art on Walnut offers a laid-back way to spend your weekend and connect with the local creative community.
