Whether you're completely new to sewing machines or have tried projects before with mixed results, this class welcomes you. You'll learn how to operate a sewing machine confidently, work different types of seams and hems, and finish edges professionally. The best part? You'll walk away with something real—a finished project you've created yourself. Choose between making a simple apron or a reusable tote bag, and the library provides all materials and equipment you need. Just note that class size is limited and three machines are available for sharing, though you're welcome to bring your own portable machine. You'll need a valid Jeffersonville Public Library card to participate in Makerspace programs; registration is required to attend.
