Beary Happy Holidays (2026)

The Louisville Zoo is creating a festive December experience with holiday décor and special activities throughout the month. Families can participate in a scavenger hunt that spans the season—complete at least half the challenges to enter a drawing for Zoo-themed prizes. The grizzly and polar bears and other animals will enjoy special holiday enrichment activities across three weekends in December, giving you the chance to see how the residents celebrate too. On December 19–20, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to spread holiday cheer. Entry is included with regular Zoo admission or membership, making this a budget-friendly way to spend a winter day together.
