Beary Happy Holidays (2026)

Ring in the season at the Louisville Zoo with festive decorations, holiday spirit, and special activities throughout December. The Zoo transforms into a winter wonderland featuring animals enjoying special enrichment activities on select weekends. Families can participate in a month-long scavenger hunt that covers the entire Zoo—complete at least half to enter a drawing for Zoo-themed prizes. It's a great way to get outside, explore the grounds, and enjoy quality time together during the busy holiday stretch. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand December 19–20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., adding extra cheer to your visit.
