Birding for Beginners

New to birding and wondering how to get started? This guided walk is designed exactly for curious beginners. You'll learn practical skills like how to use binoculars properly and follow birding etiquette as you explore at a relaxed pace. Two expert volunteer naturalists, Jim and Karen Scout, lead the group and bring both deep knowledge of local birds and a talent for making the experience fun and full of discovery. Registration is required and must be completed by 4 p.m. the day before the event. Admission is $15 for Bernheim Forest members and $20 for non-members. Please leave pets at home.
