Birding: Migration Preparation

Join experienced volunteer naturalists Karen Scout and Jim Scout for a guided look at birds preparing for their seasonal journeys. During this three-hour outing, you'll learn what makes migration such a crucial part of these birds' lives, what challenges they face, and the specific supplies and conditions they need to complete their travels safely. It's a wonderful way to understand the natural rhythms happening right in our own region. This program works well for families with kids interested in wildlife and nature. You'll need to register ahead of time—registration closes at 4 p.m. the day before the event. The cost is $15 for Bernheim members and $20 for non-members. Please leave pets at home.
