Boo at the Zoo (2026)

Bring your little ones to the Louisville Zoo for a family-friendly Halloween celebration packed with trick-or-treating, carousel rides, and special attractions. Designed to deliver the fun without the frights, this longstanding tradition welcomes children 11 and under to collect treats from 20 booths spread across a 1.3-mile trail. The event also features themed walk-through experiences, including a visit to the Headless Horseman and a guided tour of a real spider house. Adults are welcome to join in costumes too—just keep masks off your face so everyone stays comfortable and safe. Tickets must be purchased online before your visit and are required for guests ages 3 and up. Members pay $8.50, while non-members are $14.25; children under 2 enter free. You can enter anytime between 5 and 9 p.m., though earlier hours tend to be busier—consider arriving later to enjoy the zoo's twinkling lights and carved jack-o'-lanterns.
