Breakfast with the Beasts: Orangutan

Start your morning with a special behind-the-scenes experience at the Zoo. Your family will enjoy a hot breakfast featuring Belgian waffles with various toppings, sausage links, fresh-brewed coffee, juice, and water—all served near the orangutan exhibit. While you eat, you'll observe these incredible animals and learn about their world from our knowledgeable staff. The program includes an exclusive keeper talk and a chance to help create enrichment for one of the Zoo's animals, making this more than just a meal. Your ticket covers breakfast, parking, and all-day Zoo admission, priced at $40 per person (children 2 and under are free). The program is designed for families with children ages 4–18 and works wonderfully for scout and youth groups in that age range. Advance purchase is required, so be sure to book ahead. It's a wonderful way to combine a tasty breakfast with learning and animal interaction.
