Día de los Muertos: A Community Ofrenda Project

At the Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center, families and community members collaborate to build a traditional ofrenda (Day of the Dead altar) under the guidance of acclaimed artist Diego Bucio. Participants contribute to this meaningful installation and learn about the cultural significance and beauty of this cherished tradition. It's a hands-on cultural experience that honors family, memory, and artistic expression.
