ECO Kids Discovery Day

Bring your family to explore the outdoors at ECO Kids Discovery Day, where "Every Child Outside" becomes a reality through hands-on learning and guided nature experiences. The afternoon features discovery stations led by volunteer naturalists, interactive story circles near the Visitor Center, and a guided hike led by a forest expert that lasts about 45 to 60 minutes. Activities run from 1 to 4 p.m., giving you flexibility to participate in what interests your group most. This event works well for children of all ages and happens on the first and third Saturday of each month (weather permitting). A recommended donation of $15 per car applies if you're not a Bernheim member. It's a great way for kids to connect with nature in a structured, welcoming environment with knowledgeable guides on hand. Just keep in mind the event depends on good weather, so check ahead before heading out.
