ECO Kids Discovery Day

Bring your kids to explore nature at the Visitor Center during ECO Kids Discovery Day, where "Every Child Outside" becomes a reality. This event runs from 1 to 4 p.m. and offers a variety of ways for children of all ages to engage with the outdoors. Your family can visit hands-on discovery stations staffed by volunteer naturalists, stop by story circles near the Visitor Center to share tales, or join the guided hike that departs at 2 p.m. and lasts about 45 to 60 minutes. This program happens on the first and third Saturday of each month (weather permitting), making it a regular opportunity to get outside together. The recommended donation is $15 per car for non-members, and all activities are included in that single admission. It's a flexible format—families can arrive anytime during the four-hour window and participate in whichever activities interest them most.
