ECO Kids Discovery Day

Bring your children to explore nature through hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity about the outdoors. This event features discovery stations led by volunteer naturalists where kids can investigate natural wonders up close, plus informal story circles near the Visitor Center where children can hear tales and share their own observations. If your family enjoys guided walks, there's also a naturalist-led hike departing at 2 p.m. that lasts about 45 to 60 minutes. The full program runs from 1 to 4 p.m., so you can drop in for as long as works for your schedule. This is a wonderful opportunity for kids of all ages to connect with nature in a relaxed, exploratory setting. The event is part of a regular series held on the first and third Saturdays each month (when weather allows).
