First Annual Trunk or Treat

Whether you drive a decorated vehicle full of treats or simply stroll through to collect candy, there's something for everyone. As evening falls, explore the atmospheric grounds, peek into the museum buildings, and soak in the spooky spirit with live music, a mini haunted house, and guided tours. Families can purchase s'mores kits from local volunteers, warm up by the fire, and listen to eerie tales connected to the area's river history—all while dressed in their best costumes for a photo opportunity in the museum's haunted pilot house. Designed for all ages, this event welcomes both participants and casual visitors. If you'd like to sign up a vehicle, registration closes on October 20th through an online form. Participation is free, though a $5 donation per vehicle is suggested to support the event. This promises to be a fun new tradition blending Halloween fun with local history and community spirit.
