HalLOUween Parade & Fest 2026

Louisville's beloved Halloween celebration takes over the NuLu District with a full day of family-friendly activities. The festivities kick off with the street festival at 11 a.m., featuring over 60 local artists and vendors, live music, street performers, and seasonal food and drinks. You'll also find costume contests, bourbon barrel racing, Halloween movie screenings, and activities designed for kids. Best of all, general admission and parade viewing are completely free with no advance registration needed. The main event—the nationally recognized HalLOUween Parade—steps off at 7 p.m., showcasing elaborate floats, performers, and costumed characters winding through the NuLu neighborhood. Bring the kids to line the parade route and collect candy, as over 50,000 pieces are distributed along the way. If you'd like to participate in optional paid experiences, tickets are available for the 21-and-older Cider Festival and the Urban Farm attraction.
