Heart of Darkness: Black Holes

Explore the cosmos with NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador Dan Price during this evening program dedicated to understanding black holes—some of the universe's most fascinating and mysterious objects. You'll learn what makes these celestial phenomena so remarkable, then step outside for a guided laser tour of the night sky above the Garden Pavilion. Volunteer Naturalists will be on hand to point out bright stars and answer questions as you observe through telescopes. This event runs from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. and works well for families curious about space and astronomy. Admission is $15 for Bernheim members and $20 for non-members.
