Intermediate/Advanced Watercolor with Katie Burke

Katie Burke, a Louisville-based artist with over four decades of professional experience, will lead this watercolor class designed for artists who already have foundational skills in the medium. Throughout the session, participants will develop their techniques while exploring composition, color theory, and ways to express their individual artistic vision. Burke's background is extensive—she's worked in watercolor, pastel, and mixed media, studying under nationally recognized artists and exhibiting her figurative paintings, portraits, and landscapes throughout the region. She also founded Atelier Louisville, a teaching space and creative community that continues to support artists and learners. This class welcomes intermediate and advanced participants ready to deepen their practice. You'll need to bring your own watercolor supplies to use during the session.
