Junior Paleontologist Program
Young paleontologists uncover fossils and learn earth science at Falls of the Ohio State Park.
Bring your young explorer to this hands-on fossil program at Falls of the Ohio State Park Interpretive Center. Designed for kids ages 6–13, this one-hour session invites families to learn about fossils and paleontology through guided activities. The program focuses on discoveries specific to the local falls area, giving children a chance to connect with the natural history right in their own region. You'll meet in the classroom and use the new guided activity booklet designed to keep learners engaged.
The $7 per child fee is fully covered by a grant from the Falls of the Ohio Foundation, so there's no out-of-pocket cost. Your program fee also includes admission to the interpretive center's exhibit gallery, giving you time to explore before or after the session.
