Louisville Hungry Turkey 5K

Join this beloved Thanksgiving morning tradition at Waterfront Park's Great Lawn. Whether you're a serious runner or just looking for a fun way to kick off your holiday, this 5K welcomes participants of all abilities. There's also a Kids Dash for younger family members who want to participate. The race is chip-timed for accurate results, and you can even use the RaceJoy app to let friends and family track your progress in real time. After you cross the finish line, you'll enjoy fresh Bamboo donuts and earn your choice of a classic t-shirt or a soft polyester pullover. Every entry supports the WHAS Crusade for Children, which provides resources for kids with special needs throughout Kentucky and Indiana. Packet pickup is available two weeks before race day or on the morning of the event (though morning pickup may involve a short wait). Awards go to the top finishers in each age group, and all Kids Dash participants receive a finisher award.
