Midweek Nature Stroll

Midweek Nature Stroll

Take an easy, midweek nature walk in the Bernheim forest.

Join a group of experienced volunteer naturalists for a guided walk through the forest along the Elm Lick Trail. You'll explore a beautiful but physically demanding route that winds through oak-hickory and beech-maple woodlands, with some steep sections to navigate. This outing is best suited for families with older children or adults who are comfortable with moderate hiking challenges. The program runs for two hours and is completely free to attend. Trekking poles and sturdy hiking shoes are strongly recommended to help you manage the terrain safely. Please note that pets aren't permitted on this walk. To participate, you'll need to register in advance by calling the number provided—registration must be completed by 4 p.m. the day before the event.
