Perennial Division

Learn the art of multiplying your garden with help from Jeff Margreiter, the gardens' Nursery and Greenhouse Manager. This hands-on workshop covers the basics of perennial plant structure, what happens beneath the soil, and the practical techniques for dividing roots to expand your plantings. It's a great way to refresh tired garden beds or share plants with fellow gardeners. Each participant takes home five different perennial divisions to plant in their own garden or pass along to a friend. Tickets are $60 for members and $70 for general admission. Since instructors fill up quickly, booking your spot early is recommended. Keep in mind that all ticket sales are final, though you're welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else if plans change. The workshop runs rain or shine.
