Rice Orchard Ridge Discovery Hike

Explore a stunning ridgeline hike through Bernheim Forest during fall's peak colors. This moderately paced 3-mile walk takes you along a backcountry primitive trail with gentle terrain—no steep climbs to worry about. The real draw is access to parts of the forest that are only open to hikers with a guide, making this a special chance to see areas you wouldn't reach on your own. To get the most out of your experience, bring a walking stick, wear sturdy hiking shoes (skip the tennis shoes, as the path can be slippery), and pack water.
