Rick Bell Historic Walking Tours

This free 1.5-mile tour begins at the Lincoln Memorial and winds through the park, ending at the Big Four Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge. Along the way, Bell shares the remarkable transformation of this space—from an abandoned industrial site to the vibrant 88.5-acre green space it is today, offering families direct access to the Ohio River in downtown Louisville. The tour runs rain or shine, so come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, water, and sunscreen. Free parking is available throughout the park. While attendance is free, the park requests that you register in advance.
