Rick Bell Historic Walking Tours

Join author and historian Rick Bell for a free guided walking tour through one of Louisville's most transformed public spaces. This 1.5-mile stroll begins at the Lincoln Memorial and winds through Waterfront Park, ending at the Big Four Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge. Along the way, Bell shares the fascinating story of how this 85-acre green space evolved from an abandoned industrial area into the vibrant riverfront destination it is today. The tour runs rain or shine, so come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, water, and sunscreen. Parking is free in the park. While admission is completely free, the organizers ask that you register in advance if possible.
