Rock the Rocks: Family Fest & Concert

Bring your family to Falls of the Ohio State Park for a full day of free activities and learning opportunities. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy guided tours through the Interpretive Center and interactive stations hosted by local organizations. Kids can explore topics like clean water, birding, fossils, and local wildlife—all at no cost to you. This is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon outdoors while discovering something new together. As the sun sets, the day transitions into an evening concert featuring Mama Said String Band, a Louisville-based group known for their blend of bluegrass, folk, and Americana music. They've earned regional recognition for their heartfelt songwriting and vocal harmonies. If you'd like to stay for the concert (5 p.m.–9 p.m.), tickets are required and include food and drink. All ticket proceeds support the Falls of the Ohio Foundation's conservation work.
