Snakes: Tree Tales and Tall Tales

Join Ed Briand, a Volunteer Naturalist, Certified Interpretive Guide, and retired veterinarian, for an engaging exploration of Kentucky's snake species. This family-friendly program cuts through common myths and misconceptions about snakes, revealing the facts behind these often misunderstood creatures. It's a great opportunity for families to learn why snakes matter to our local ecosystem and how to coexist with them safely. The program runs from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and is recommended for children ages six and up, though adults will find plenty to learn as well. Admission is $15 for Bernheim members and $20 for non-members. You'll need to register by 4 p.m. the day before the event—call (502) 215-7155 or register online.
