Vera Rubin: A Legacy of Time and Space

Join NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador Dan Price for an evening celebrating the life and work of Dr. Vera Rubin, the astronomer honored by a newly named observatory. This program combines a presentation about her groundbreaking contributions with hands-on stargazing at the Garden Pavilion. You'll explore the night sky with laser guidance, peer through telescopes, and hear from knowledgeable Volunteer Naturalists who can answer questions about what you're observing. This event runs three hours and works well for families curious about astronomy and space science. Admission is $15 for Bernheim members and $20 for non-members.
