WFPK Waterfront Wednesday

WFPK Waterfront Wednesday is a free concert series held on the Big Four Lawn, offering families a chance to enjoy live music in a scenic riverside setting. The August event features Old 97's and Cait Justice as headliners, along with an LPM Young Artist Showcase winner. This open green space sits right next to the Big Four Bridge and offers beautiful views of the Ohio River, making it a lovely backdrop for an evening out. The event runs from early evening into the night, giving families flexibility in when they arrive and how long they stay. There's no cost to attend—admission is always free thanks to sponsorships and donations. Parking is available on nearby streets and in Waterfront Park's lots on a first-come, first-served basis, with the added option of pre-paid parking at Lynn Family Stadium if you prefer to arrange ahead. The site offers bike parking as well for those who prefer to pedal in. Proceeds from concessions and fundraising support local nonprofits, so spending on food or entering raffles helps give back to the community.
